AVGAS is available via Nautilus but must be pre-ordered in exact quantities; there are reports of invoiced amounts exceeding delivered fuel by up to 10 liters. Payment for fuel is required on the spot.
Transport to Palermo city center is possible by taxi (about €70) or by regular bus and train services; travel time can be significant due to the airport’s distance from the city (about 30 km).
Expect slow ground processes, with long waits for paperwork, marshalling, and access between terminal and apron. All pilots must request PPR in advance and bring confirmation; without it, access may be denied despite available parking.
