Civil Airfield Taranto / Grottaglie (LIBG)

Handling is mandatory and currently provided by Delta Aerotaxi. Fees are high, with an example of about €490 for landing and three days parking, including a security charge of about €310. PPR is required 24 hours in advance for both arrival and departure. The airport has a 3200 m runway and is generally quiet, with little or no other traffic. Facilities are limited: there is no avgas, no car rental, and no café, only a vending machine. Jet fuel is available. Taxis from Grottaglie arrive in about 15 minutes. Customs can be arranged with advance notice, and police are present for arrivals and departures even from Schengen states. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
