Siofok Kiliti Airport (LHSK)

LHSK features both a 600–650 m asphalt runway and a long, well-maintained grass runway, with apron parking on asphalt (permanent tie-downs) and grass. PPR is required; phone or email contact in advance is recommended, especially due to frequent parachute operations with a large helicopter. During parachuting, expect possible holding outside the dropzone and coordinate entry only after clear instructions; blind calls are used when radio is unstaffed. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.

The airfield is described as very well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. Refueling (100LL, Avgas, Jet A1, Mogas) is available, though delays may occur during busy periods. Accommodation is available on site in apartments or rooms directly at the airfield; Example: apartment about €70 per night. A restaurant operates on the field but may be closed at times.

Taxis to Siofok are readily arranged by staff or directly via local drivers; fixed prices range from about €15 to €40 round trip depending on distance and arrangement. Walking or biking into town is not recommended due to distance. Facilities include tie-down rings, hangar space (by reservation), and basic maintenance support.

The airfield is suitable for non-commercial general aviation, with flexible parking even during busy events. Example: landing and three nights about €30. Safety notes include distinguishing between grass runway and taxiway (especially from the north), and maintaining good radio contact due to sometimes limited coverage away from the field.
