PPR and handling are mandatory, with handling typically arranged through agents such as Skyserv, Goldair, or Olympic. Parking is limited and subject to slot and PPR constraints, especially in the main season; stays longer than 60 minutes may not be accepted. Processes are described as bureaucratic and time-consuming, with security and commercial passenger flows mixed. No Avgas is available.

Fees are high for general aviation. Example: landing and two days parking about €310 with AOPA card; another example: handling about €30–40, landing about €20–30, but total costs can reach €70 or more depending on agent and duration. AOPA membership may reduce handling fees if the card is shown on arrival.

Ground transport from apron to terminal is mandatory by bus even for short distances; walking is not permitted. Expect dust accumulation on parked aircraft, especially in windy conditions. Customs clearance is available as Santorini is a port of entry.
