Limited traffic and variable opening hours; PPR is available. Handling is provided by Skyserv, with AOPA discount possible. Example: total fees (landing, handling, overnight, commission) about €35. Handling surcharges may apply on weekends; one example shows a weekend total of about €350 due to an 80% surcharge. Another example: landing and three nights parking about €90 with AOPA card. No Avgas available. Car hire possible via www.astypalaiarentacar.gr; hotel shuttles or pickups can be arranged. The terminal is modern and staff are friendly. Approaches can be windy but typically align with the runway. The main town is about 10 km from the airport; taxi availability may be limited. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
