Parking for general aviation is limited, especially in high season, but possible with advance arrangement; Goldair Handling is the primary contact for parking and handling, with Maria Butler reachable at efl.sm@goldair-handling.gr. Handling is mandatory, and fees are high: Example: landing/handling and PPR about €180 for a short stay, or about €270 for a weekend; longer stays may cost around €150–€250 depending on duration and services. Additional charges include parking permission (about €30) and slot management (about €40). ATC operates professionally with mostly airline traffic; standard arrivals and approaches are preferred, and requests to deviate from standard procedures are typically declined.

AVGAS is not available; only jet fuel is offered. Car hire is available at the airport, and Argostoli town is accessible by taxi. Airport opening hours can be restricted, sometimes closed midday even in high season; check published hours before planning. Flight plans can be filed at the tower. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
