PPR is required, and opening hours can change at short notice; confirmation of departure times is advisable, as operational hours may not match published schedules. Handling is mandatory, with Skyserv as the main agent; AOPA membership may provide discounts. Handling fees can be high with some agents, with one example of about €170 per landing. An additional custom charge of about €50 may apply for departures abroad. No Avgas is available. Car rental is possible directly at the airport, and there are no buses on the island—transport relies on taxis or rental cars. The airport is generally friendly to general aviation, but strong winds can make approaches challenging. Customs and immigration are limited to Schengen and EU flights only; non-Schengen/EU arrivals or departures are not permitted. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
