Airport Cherbourg Manche (LFRC) IFR

Cherbourg (LFRC) offers both VFR and IFR operations, with a large runway and apron. The airport is located outside Cherbourg; taxis to the city take about 15 minutes and cost €40–50. No bus service is reported. The terminal shop has previously offered wine and charts.

Be aware of prohibited areas west and southwest of the airfield. The airport is generally quiet with little traffic, but can be busy during parachute operations.
