Vesoul Frotey Airport (LFQW)

LFQW sits on a hilltop with a long, well-maintained hard runway and taxiways in excellent condition. No landing or parking fees apply. Avgas (100LL) and Jet A1 are available for purchase when an aeroclub member is present, with payment accepted by Total card, credit card, debit card, or cash. Example: fuel payment by Total card or credit card. The aeroclub is welcoming and often assists with transport to Vesoul, as the town is not within easy walking distance; a bus stop labeled "Aerodrome" exists at the field but operates only on request, and reservation procedures are unclear.

Radio communication is exclusively in French, with overhead join procedures standard. Pilots must self-record arrival and departure times in the C-office. Under the week, be alert for active military airspace from Luxeuil; routing may require coordination or detours depending on LFSX activity. Lighting can be activated at any time via PCL at no charge.
