Probably one of the best airports I've ever flown into for GA. EUR 57.10 all in for an exceptional service, which was requested a few hours before for a quick visit. ATC was very well organised and efficient and on top of ATC slots, which when requested was well organised before the flight plan was suspended.

IFR and VFR operations are available with clear ATC instructions, though ATIS audio quality can be poor. Handling is generally mandatory for GA, with advance notice (PPR 48h) and submission of a customer form and noise certificate required in some cases, especially with passengers. Fees for landing, handling, and short parking typically range from about €50 to €180 depending on duration and services; handling alone is often a significant part of the total. Example: landing, handling, and one night about €180. Terminal transfer by van is usually required and may incur an extra charge. Payment for fuel is primarily by Total card; cash or credit card may be possible but can require extra coordination.
GA parking stands are well marked, but tie-down points or wheel chocks are not always available for small aircraft. The old GA terminal has been closed or derelict at times; a new terminal was expected to open after September 2022. In the interim, GA crews are met on the apron and escorted to the main terminal by car or bus. Processing through security and passport control is generally efficient, with staff providing direct assistance from aircraft to landside.
Transport to Lille city center is available by airport shuttle (about €10 return per person) or taxi (about €30 per trip), with shuttle departures typically every 30–60 minutes and a travel time of 15–20 minutes. The city offers good accommodation options and is noted as an attractive destination.
Noise abatement procedures apply on departure from runway 26 (initial heading 273° for the first 3 nm). IFR starts are not available on runways 01/19. Procedures may vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
Customs/passport control is provided as needed, especially for arrivals from outside Schengen. Contact: ag@lille.aeroport.fr or +33 320 496821.
Overall, Lille Lesquin offers efficient service and good access to the city but at relatively high cost compared to other French airports.
