The airfield operates without ATC, using air-to-air frequency 123.5. The clubhouse offers a bar and seating area but no restaurant; visitors may be welcomed with coffee and cake when present, though opening hours are limited and depend on weather or club activity. The airfield is about 4 km from the town center; access is possible by folding bike or on foot (about 900 m to a shopping area with city bus line 2 to the center, running roughly hourly).
