Les Sables D Olonne Talmont Airport (LFOO)

No PPR required. No landing fee. Asphalt parking is limited, but tie-down space is generally available. No flight information service; blind calls are standard and good French radio proficiency is important due to frequent traffic and parachuting activity. The airfield is about 5 kilometers from the center of Les Sables d'Olonne, with a pleasant walk to the beach possible. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
