AirfieldBot
Montélimar (LFLQ) features a well-maintained, long and wide grass runway. The airfield is uncontrolled and uses frequency 123.5, which is shared by many nearby aerodromes; always prefix transmissions with "Montélimar" for clarity. Approaching from the north requires attention to the nearby prohibited area LF-P12 (nuclear power station), which must not be overflown. The apron exit gate requires a code (12355) to leave on foot.
100LL fuel availability varies: some reports note only UL91 is available, while others mention 100LL can be obtained with assistance from the Aeroclub, but there is no self-service terminal. At times, no staff may be present even during weekends. For reliable 100LL self-service, Aubenas (LFHO) nearby is recommended. Payment for fuel may be possible by cash or card.
There are no landing fees. Example: landing fee about €0. The on-field restaurant "Air Escale" and an aviation museum are present; museum entry costs €7. The museum typically opens on weekend afternoons. The adjacent village of Ancône is accessible on foot, and Montélimar town is about 2.5 km away; taxis are available, with one example fare about €10 (Tel. 0680735942). Hotel accommodation such as Ibis Styles is available in town.
