AirfieldBot
LFLO offers a quiet, uncomplicated environment with good infrastructure and helpful staff. VFR arrivals and departures are flexible, including during lunch breaks when AFIS may be unstaffed; operations continue using air-to-air calls, and radio is available in French with some English possible. Gliding activity in the region requires attention.
Self-service fuel is available: 100LL, Jet A1, and UL91 can be purchased with a regular credit card. Maintenance facilities are present on the field. Example: landing and parking about €15. Taxis to Roanne cost about €20. There is no on-field restaurant, but restaurants are available in town, approximately 8 km away.
