Airport Chambley (LFJY) IFR

Chambley (LFJY) offers a long main runway, additional grass and short strips, and GPS approach capability. Operations are typically uncontrolled with air-to-air communication in the circuit; the tower is usually not staffed. Radio calls are generally made in French, and NOTAMs may require French language use. Weather information is broadcast after seven mic clicks on frequency. Night VFR lighting (PCL) is available, likely activated by three mic clicks.

AVGAS and UL91 are available via a Total card-operated self-service pump at the southwest end; UL91 selection at the pump may be restricted. Cash or standard credit card payment for fuel is possible if arranged in advance by phone, otherwise only Total card is accepted. Turnaround times of 15–20 minutes are typical. No on-field flight service officer; direct arrivals are possible.

For departures westbound, prior coordination with Etain Approach is required for clearance through Etain CTR. Flight plans can be closed by phone at 0033 326846000 (English spoken).
