Civil Airfield Joigny (LFGK)

LFGK is a quiet, unattended airfield with no landing or parking fees. An avgas pump is present, but assistance from someone on site is required to access fuel. The airfield is generally deserted, so prior contact with the local club is advisable if fuel or access is needed. The asphalt runway sits on a ridge above Joigny and has a noticeable slope; the surface condition has been described as variable, with some reports noting roughness and potential for propeller stone damage. Communication is on 123.50.

The walk into Joigny takes 15–25 minutes downhill along a grassy track through vineyards; the return uphill can be strenuous and the path may be wet after rain. The route is not suitable for buggies. Joigny offers restaurants and scenic spots by the river, though some shops in town are closed. No hangar space is available, but parking outdoors is possible and camping appears feasible due to open access and lack of fencing.

There are no official ground transport services at the field; advance hotel booking and taxi arrangements are recommended if staying overnight.
