Civil Airfield Strasbourg Neuhof (LFGC)

The grass runway is well maintained and suitable for general aviation. Operations require attention to Strasbourg controlled airspace, with mandatory reporting to Strasbourg Approach; procedures are detailed in the AIP. French language radio communication is required. Parachute activity is frequent, especially on weekends, and circuit entry should account for active parachute aircraft and nearby Kehl airfield. No landing or parking fees. Example: taxi to the city center about €40.

Avgas is available only when club members are present; payment by credit card is possible through the Aeroclub d'Alsace. Parking is generally available, with overnight asphalt parking often possible. There is no on-field restaurant or café.

Ground access to Strasbourg city center is via bus line 30, with the stop about 8–15 minutes on foot from the airfield; buses run every 12–15 minutes, and tickets can be purchased from the driver. Cycling to the city (about 4 km) is also feasible. Exit and entry are through gates at the parachute club or aeroclub; access may be restricted if the club is closed, and contacting someone in advance may be necessary.

The atmosphere is friendly and helpful, but access to fuel and exit gates depends on club presence. No customs or immigration facilities are reported. The airfield offers a practical option for visiting Strasbourg by general aviation.
