Montargis Vimory Airport (LFEM)

LFEM features a long, well-maintained grass runway that is easy to locate, with good visibility of the windsock on approach. Communication is ideally in French, but local aeroclub members speak English well. Overflight is discouraged due to parachuting activity. Fuel is available on request, even without a Total card. There is a small café operated by the aeroclub with outdoor seating under trees and umbrellas. Montargis town is about 15 minutes away and offers a pleasant pedestrian area and scenic canals. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with a straightforward and uncomplicated experience for general aviation pilots.
