AirfieldBot
IFR approaches are straightforward, with RNAV available on both runways and helpful ATC. Customs requires 24-hour prior notice via handling@aeroport-rodez.fr with a copy to bsi-millau@douane.finances.gouv.fr; procedures include completing a French form, and customs presence varies. The GA apron is usually quiet, with access to the terminal through a one-way turnstile; re-entry requires pressing a buzzer or assistance from staff.
Avgas is available as self-service with a Total card; payment by credit card is possible when staff are present, but may be less reliable during lunchtime. Fuel pumps are at the far end of the apron, which can be inconvenient if commercial flights are operating. NOTAMs should be checked for fuel availability outside standard hours; without a Total card, refueling service can be arranged through the tower or by schedule.
Landing and parking fees for GA aircraft are low to moderate. Example: landing and three-day parking about €30. A café or restaurant is located in the terminal and is generally well regarded for food quality. Car hire desks are available on site, and taxi waits have been reported as short (about 15 minutes).
