Albi Le Sequestre Airport (LFCI)

IFR and VFR operations are possible, including when the airfield is not staffed, but runway length may be reduced from 1500m to 1200m during motor racing events; always check NOTAMs for closures or restrictions. On Sundays, AFIS is typically not staffed and French A/A procedures apply. The airfield uses a code system for access; the code is posted on the apron-side door and must be remembered for re-entry. Payment is handled via a door in the flight planning room rather than the main external staircase.

Landing fees and parking charges are moderate. Example: landing fee about €10, parking for four days about €70. Tie-down rings may not be available on the apron, so bring your own chocks if needed.

The town of Albi is nearby with notable attractions such as the cathedral and good, affordable restaurants. Free shuttle service through the city runs every 15 minutes but does not operate on Sundays; taxis and buses are often unavailable on Sundays as well. Car hire can be arranged through tower staff.
