Amiens-Glisy operates with a typical French Multicom system, and radio communication is officially in French. Outside tower or AFIS hours, operations are conducted with blind calls; IFR pickup is available from Lille FIS. No landing fees are charged outside tower opening times. Example: taxi to the city about €20–€30. Uber availability varies, with reported wait times of around 8 minutes when available. Fuel (100LL) is available on site, with payment by credit card during AFIS hours and self-service using an AIRCRAFT card outside these times. The airfield has a small aeroclub, and visitors may use club facilities when open. Restaurant availability varies; it may be closed at times. Several hotels and restaurants are located near the airfield. Glider activity is present, and their runway must be crossed to access the main paved runway; caution is advised.
