Civil Airfield Requena (LERE)

Requena (LERE) is a VFR-only airfield with a 995 m runway, located west of Valencia. PPR is mandatory. Procedures and approach charts are available on the official website, and pilots should review them before arrival. IFR joining and departure are coordinated with Valencia.

The airfield has an active flight school, frequent training traffic, and English is limited outside of instructors. Landing fees are low; Example: landing about €10. Parking is available; Example: parking about €10 per night. Payment for landing and fuel is made at the on-field shop next to a large, well-regarded restaurant.

Avgas and Jet-A1 are available during airfield opening hours (sunrise to sunset). Transport to Valencia involves a taxi to Requena-Utiel train station, then a 20-minute AVE train ride; trains run only a few times daily.
