Handling is mandatory for general aviation, with several agents available. IFR arrivals use standard STARs from the north via MAR VOR; ILS DME approaches are available for runways 32 (over sea) and 14 (over terrain). No slot time is required for departures. ATC is generally helpful but radio communication can be challenging due to accent and waypoint pronunciation; setting radio volume high and anticipating instructions is recommended.

Security procedures include a per-passenger security tax when crossing through screening in either direction.
