Igualada/Odena Airport (LEIG)

Uncontrolled airfield with an asphalt runway and no ground information service. No fuel available, no restaurant, and no public transport connections. Parking is on grass without tie-down rings or anchors. No fees. Circuit procedures: powered aircraft use the western circuit, gliders use the eastern circuit. Radio calls are often in Catalan; Spanish proficiency is recommended for position reports. A castle with a flag south of the field provides a useful wind indicator on approach. Hot air balloons may be inflated at the northern end of the runway near a balloon manufacturer.
