What other pilots say about LEGY
Report from July 2021: Nice small airport, mainly glider traffic. Hangars available for 12€ per night, apron 6€.Contact data changed, see picture. Not in AIP, we used the chart provided by aterriza.org to follow the procedure. Madrid ACC can be reached easily for IFR pickup after departure. Spending 1-2days in Soria is highly recommended!
LEGY is a small, privately owned airport with mainly glider traffic and little overall activity. Operations are VFR only. Hangars are available, and apron parking is offered. Example: hangar about €20 per night, apron about €10. Both mogas and avgas are available for refueling. Facilities include a small bistro or bar. Service is described as friendly and efficient, though communication may be limited to Spanish. Madrid ACC can be contacted easily for IFR pickup after departure. The airport is considered a good intermediate stop when crossing Spain. Procedures are not published in the AIP; use locally provided charts or resources such as aterriza.org to follow the correct procedure.
