Lleida/Alguaire Airport (LEDA)

Large airport with very little traffic and a spacious apron. IFR approaches including ILS are available, but the tower may not always be staffed; arrivals sometimes require blind calls on published frequencies. Flight plans can be filed on site. Expect some paperwork upon arrival, and the landing fee invoice is sent by post. Example: landing fee about €20. Fuel is available via fuel truck, payable by credit card at the truck without needing to return to the terminal; an additional charge applies for fuel truck service. The terminal building is closed and offers no facilities, and the airport is located far from the city. On departure to the north, ensure reaching FL140 within about 25 NM to clear surrounding mountains. Passports and high-visibility vests are required when leaving the aircraft.
