LEBA (Córdoba) is an uncontrolled airfield with AFIS available only during limited hours; otherwise, pilots use air-to-air communication in English or Spanish. No handling is required, and operations are generally straightforward and GA-friendly. Several flight schools are based on the field. Fuel (Avgas and Jet A1) is available, typically requiring BP Carnet or credit card; payment can involve some paperwork and a tax number, especially for Avgas. On weekends, fuel may require two hours' prior notice.
Landing and parking fees are moderate. Example: landing plus three days' parking about €80; another example: landing plus one day parking about €30. Parking alone is around €20 per day, and landing fees can be about €5–10. Payment of landing fees and passage through security require a filed flight plan.
Taxis to the city cost about €20, with bus service also available (about €2, 25 minutes). The airport is approximately 10 km from Córdoba city center. High-speed train connections from Córdoba offer fast access to Sevilla (45 minutes), Málaga (50 minutes), and Madrid (1 hour 45 minutes).
OPS staff are described as friendly and helpful. No handling agent is required. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
Córdoba serves as a practical base for exploring Andalusia.
