PPR is required for all flights and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance by emailing operaciones_ovd@aena.es with standard flight and aircraft details; approval is typically prompt. No handling is required for aircraft up to 3.5 tons MTOW, and there are no handling fees for aircraft under 2 tons MTOW. Long opening hours, customs, and Avgas are available. Fuel can be paid in cash or with fuel cards, but not with credit cards; a valid Spanish tax number is mandatory for fuel purchases. The apron is large, with GAT support available, though walking distances can be long. Example: landing plus overnight parking about €40. Car hire is available nearby through Thrifty at a low rate. Clearance through the main terminal involves passing standard passenger security. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
