We visited Zagreb in an SR22. Handling was straightforward, fueling as well. Fees: Handling €100 Takeoff/landing €30 Parking €2 (we were only on the ground for a few hours) Crew inbound €50 Crew outbound €50 per pax inbound €50 per pax outbound €50

Without pax that made €240 + 25% VAT.

My companion’s crew qualification was not checked.

Pilot lounge exemplary, with a wide selection of snacks and beverages.

Rental cars are only available in the main terminal, which is 3 km away. Uber is much easier unless you need the car for several days.

General aviation at Zagreb (LDZA) involves mandatory handling with significant associated costs. Standard handling is about €100, with additional charges of about €50 each for crew inbound and outbound van transfers, plus 25% VAT. For a short stay without passengers, total fees can reach around €240 plus VAT; with passengers, costs increase further. Parking is inexpensive (about €2 for a few hours), and landing fees are typically about €30. Overnight parking remains low, but the main expense is handling and transfer charges. Example: total fees for a brief visit without passengers about €240 plus VAT.

The GAT terminal offers a well-equipped pilots’ lounge with snacks and drinks. Both Jet A1 and 100LL are available; fueling is generally straightforward, though occasional delays occur. Car rental desks are located in the main terminal approximately 3 km away; ride-hailing services like Uber and Bolt are widely used and often cheaper than taxis for city transfers.

IFR arrivals may experience delayed descent clearance until close to the ILS. The airport staff are described as professional and helpful, with efficient ground handling. Customs procedures are straightforward within the terminal.

Overall, LDZA provides good facilities and service for general aviation but at high handling cost; procedures vary—see AIP/NOTAM.
