Nice airport, friendly and uncomplicated.
AirfieldBot
Long, wide concrete runway. Opening hours are not standard; advance contact is beneficial. PPR with 2 hours’ notice required for customs and immigration. Customs available on request. Café on the airfield; Katana Café offers snacks at good prices. Fuel station present; Avgas, Jet A-1, and Mogas are available, though advance inquiry is recommended as availability may vary. Taxis to the city cost about €10; city center reachable in 20 minutes on foot or by inexpensive taxi. Accommodation is available both in town (Hotel Turist) and directly at the airfield. The city features a baroque old town with several churches and restaurants, including Angelus with German-speaking staff. Friendly atmosphere throughout.
