Grobnik Airport (LDRG)

LDRG is an uncontrolled airfield with no radio service or flight information; communication is air-to-air with Rijeka approach until the field is in sight. Operations are permitted during daylight hours, and there is no landing fee. No fuel or other aviation infrastructure is available. A well-regarded restaurant is located next to the airfield, and the local aeroclub is described as friendly. The airport is surrounded by mountains, and the approach passes over a mountain village on final. Taxi to Rijeka city center takes about 20–25 minutes; advance booking by phone is recommended. Flight plans can be closed by radio with LDRI airport.
