Truckee Tahoe Airport (KTRK)

Description: An Enterprise rental car location is just outside the airport gate, and Go Rentals supports the field as well. A few lodging options are within a walkable distance from the airport too. The Red Truck cafe is located on the field.

Transient Parking: Transient parking is available on the west ramp and the fees are reasonable as of 10/2023 (that's subject to personal interpretation, of course). They do have hangar space avaiable for rent by the night. Truckee does not have an FBO, so just call Unicom to ask about parking.

Fuel Location: West ramp, just west of the terminal building. It's easy to find and maneuver around.

Flying Clubs: Tahoe Flying Club is located here with a 182.

Comments from pilots: - Very GA-friendly airport with attentive staff. Be mindful of the noise abatement procedure off all four rwys 11/29 and 02/20 - you’ll get a letter in the mail if you deviate, as the locals like to report those who don’t follow the plan. It’s easy - just know before you go. Plan posters all over the airport, and ATC can help you if you can’t find it. (2023-10-26, 1 helpful)
