Description: Southern Soul BBQ is off the end of Runway 4, a short walk up the sidewalk from the FBO. There are other restaurants in the shopping center around it as well. Fiddlers is a short drive from the FBO, offering local seafood, southern fare, and delicious cocktails with picturesque marsh views. Southern Bell Villa is a pilot-owned beach house only a mile from the FBO. 4BR/4.5BA fully renovated home with private heated pool, fire pit, and just steps from the best beach on the island, East Beach. No pets. Alternatively, a Home2Suites hotel is located right next to the FBO. Avis and Hertz car rentals are available in the FBO.

Transient Parking: Piston aircraft should expect to park on the "distant" southeast portion of the ramp and ride a golf cart to the FBO terminal.

Comments from pilots: - Southern Soul BBQ (http://www.southernsoulbbq.com/) is a 5-minute walk from the FBO, and a great place to stop. If you have longer, grab a crew car and head in to downtown St. Simons. There are a variety of restaurants, and it’s also nice to walk along the water and check out the lighthouse.
