Theodore Francis Green State Airport (KPVD)

Description: KPVD is a great airport in a convenient location. Controllers here are an absolute pleasure to work with, and are welcoming of GA traffic. There is a train station and rental car hub located near the airport at 700 Jefferson Blvd. It can be accessed via a bridge from the main terminal, or by a short walk, though I'm sure Atlantic could provide transportation. There are plenty of hotels available on Post Rd. or Jefferson Blvd. as well as in Downtown Providence. Post Rd. has plenty of dining options available, with many more great options in nearby Providence, East Greenwich, and Cranston. Tavolo is a very good Italian restaurant within walking distance of the airport. Iron Works is attached to a hotel across from the train station and is also a fantastic restaurant. Horizon Aviation is a part 141 flight school located on-site and provides excellent flight training, though they do not provide rentals. There are no aircraft rental options at this airport.

Crew Car: Atlantic has a crew car available, and will let you use it for free for an hour.
