Information from pirep.io:
Description: Orcas Island is a short (10 minute) walk to Eastsound. In town there are numerous restaurants to choose from with excellent options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just ice cream. KORS is a popular camping location as well. The grass area north of the fuel pumps is the camping area. See below for the nightly camping fees. There is a bathroom/shower facility on the field as well. See the pin on the map for its exact location. At the marina adjacent to the airport are Oracs Enchanted and Salish Seacrets which offer fishing tours, dinner boat tours, kayak rentals, and whalewatching. The former has a twice daily ferry to Sucia Island with bike rentals as an option. It's occasionally possible to walk out to Indian Island (the small island in the bay south of Eastsound) when the tide is low enough. If attempting this make sure to bring boots as the walk out is extremely muddy.
Transient Parking: Transient parking is located at the south end of the field, closest to the trail into town.
Crew Car: A crew car is available with a requested donation of $10 + fuel top-off. More details are located here: https://www.portoforcas.com/orcas-airport-crew-car/ Bicycles are also available on the field. See here for contact info on how to access the bike locker: https://www.portoforcas.com/pilot-amenities/ Rental cars are available from M&W auto: https://www.sanjuanauto.com/car-rental-friday-harbor-san-juan-island and also Orcas Cars: https://www.orcascars.com/.
Flying Clubs: The Airhawks club is based here, focused on getting 9-18 year olds interested in aviation through scholarships for flight training.
