VFR traffic skirts LAX Class B airspace, while IFR approaches pass through it; the localizer approach is partly inside Class B. The airport is mostly used by general aviation, with some commercial air traffic and business jets. 100LL and Jet A-1 are available. No landing fee is reported; parking and handling rates are not specified. The airport can be difficult to spot at night, and the VASI is hard to see. It is located just south of LAX, about 45 minutes from Santa Monica or downtown Los Angeles by Uber.
