Information from pirep.io:

Description: KAJO is a small pilot-controlled GA airport in a busy corridor here in SoCal. The Corona Airport Cafe is at the east side of the field, south of the City tie-downs and transient parking. It's a great stop for food, but they close early so get there before 2pm. Aircraft Spruce (West) is nearby. You can call them to deliver a purchase or shuttle you to/from the airport. Here are some tips from a local to prepare for flying into KAJO-Corona Muni: * There will be transiting traffic east-west along the 91 highway as well as north-south along the 15 highway. There is also IFR training traffic coming in from the PDZ VOR headed toward midfield that will often go missed back to PDZ. * There are a few flight schools both on-field and at neighboring airports, so expect pattern traffic with student pilots. * Helicopters will generally land on the south grass on the south side of the airport. Auto-gyros are often in the area as well. Be on the constant watch for both pattern and transiting helicopter traffic. * Straight-in approaches to 25/7 not recommended due to heavy traffic. Common pattern entry is 45 degree to the downwind (both left pattern for RWY25 and right pattern for RWY7) at 2000 AGL--descending to pattern alt as you enter. * Pattern should be flown tight, again for traffic concerns. Stay to the north of the 91 (east/west hwy to the south) and make base turn for 25 before Lincoln Ave. Avoid overflying houses on base-to-final. There are powerlines to stay above on RWY25 final. RWY7 has no PAPI. * Coyotes do wander onto the runway both in daylight and at night. Be prepared to go around. * Speak up on 122.7! Do not assume you are alone. Also, don't rely 100% on the "fishfinder", ADSB is wonky in this area and you will be surprised. SEE AND AVOID.

Transient Parking: City tiedowns and transient parking are at the far east side of the airport (Runway 25 side). All other tiedowns are reserved.

Fuel Location: Just about midfield off the taxiway is the CW Transporation fuel station with 3 pumps of 100LL. Sorry, no Jet-A

WiFi: The CW Transportation FBO (directly south of the fuel pumps and the restrooms) has wifi posted if open to public. If locked, well...

Comments from pilots:
- I picked Corona Muni as my home with my first aircraft purchase. It’s busy both on the ground and in the air. It’s Pilot-Controlled and you get a mix of characters on the radio. The cafe is great. Aircraft Spruce is nearby. There are services on the field and many A&Ps if you have an AOG event here. Great little airport tucked in next to the Prado Dam. Just bring bug juice if you are hanging out for a bit. :) (2023-03-28, 1 helpful)
