Tenerife South (GCTS) is a large, busy airport with significant charter traffic, especially on Saturdays. Mandatory handling and arrival slots are required; slots must be included in the flight plan, and handling agents such as Gerardo Melendez (gerardo.melendez@gmelendez.com or tfsops@gmelendez.com) can arrange these. Example: handling about €130–€300. Example: landing and 8 days parking about €300. No Avgas is available. Winds can often be unusually strong due to local topography. Light general aviation traffic is uncommon.
