Palanga (EYPA) is a modern, regional airport with a relaxed tower and generally friendly, efficient service. Both VFR and IFR operations are straightforward, with no PPR required. For use of the Palanga TMA, an additional fee applies.

Facilities include an on-field bistro (closed Sundays) and easy access to local hotels, though accommodation in peak season can be limited. The area offers attractive beaches and tourist activities.
