Civil Airfield Klaipėda (EYKL)

The airport offers both asphalt and grass runways; the asphalt surface is somewhat uneven and the apron is in poor condition. Hangar space is available for about €10 per day. No landing fee is mentioned. A taxi ride to the city takes about 15 minutes and costs around €10. Helpful staff assist with transport to town, hotel arrangements, and fueling; Mogas can be obtained by car at a nearby highway station. Facilities near the field include a modern complex with restaurant, hotel, offices, and toilets about 100 meters from the airport. The airfield is suitable as a base for visiting the Curonian Spit, with ferry and minibus connections from Klaipeda.
