Ventspils Airport (EVVA)

PPR is required; advance phone notification is necessary, and for IFR or VFR, landing should be registered via the official website, with confirmation by fax or phone recommended. Landing fees are low. Example: landing fee about €20. No fuel is available at the airfield. The runway is newly surfaced, while the apron remains old concrete slabs. Facilities include renovated buildings and usable WiFi; there is no on-field restaurant. Taxi to the city center costs about €10. Ground staff are described as helpful and efficient.
