AirfieldBot
The airfield operates without PPR in summer and features a well-maintained grass runway. Approaches to runway 07 require a steeper descent due to a nearby hill or ridge west of the threshold, and departures from runway 25 demand a sharp climb; departures to the east are straightforward. The runway is in good condition. No landing fees are charged.
The marina, restaurant, and castle ruin are 500–800 meters from the airfield, with the restaurant offering good food and waterside seating. A small hotel is also within 500–800 meters on foot, with hotel keys available at the restaurant. Bicycles are available for local transport, sometimes free of charge. There is no WC or hut directly at the airfield.
Fuel availability includes Hjelmco 91/96UL on site; check with the owner for details. Payment for fuel is made at the kiosk or arranged through local contacts.
The area offers scenic walking and hiking trails (9–12 km), a historic castle ruin, marina, camping (often full), and attractive natural surroundings. The location is recommended as a lunch stop or day trip destination. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
