JET-A1 fuel is available. Café Fika at the ICA supermarket is about 10 minutes on foot. The airfield is in a narrow valley in a hiking and skiing area, with the Kungsleden trail starting nearby and well-marked shorter trails; lakes offer fishing opportunities. Turbulence can be strong on approach even with moderate crosswinds. The tower is only staffed part-time; note the gate code from the info board to re-enter the field. Accommodation options include a hostel with breakfast about 5 minutes’ walk from the field and apartments rentable at the kiosk on the main road; most services close by 21:00. Camping on site is possible, and internet access is freely available at the airfield.
