JET-A1 fuel is available. Café Fika at the ICA supermarket is about 10 minutes on foot. The airfield is in a narrow valley in a hiking and skiing area, with the Kungsleden trail starting nearby and well-marked shorter trails; lakes offer fishing opportunities.
