Airport Växjö/Kronoberg (ESMX)

Växjö/Småland (ESMX) is a quiet regional airport with friendly and helpful ATC and ground staff. Both VFR and IFR operations are supported, with straightforward procedures for landing, parking, and payment at the information desk in the main terminal. Opening hours can be limited, especially on weekends or off-season, so checking ahead is advisable. Refuelling is generally quick and efficient; Avgas is available via BP card, and Jet-A1 is supplied by truck, though a surcharge applies for small quantities. Example: landing fee about €20.
