Civil Airfield Landskrona (ESML)

Well-maintained grass and asphalt runways are available, with the option to choose either surface. The airfield operates without a flight information service; standard procedure is to make blind calls for arrival and departure. Communication with the club by email is prompt and helpful, and phone contact is possible via the number on the club’s website. The club facilities are newly renovated and include overnight accommodation. Refuelling is available (UL91/96 and Avgas), with payment options including cash, credit card, and Swedish Krona; staff or club members assist at the pump when contacted in advance. Example: landing fee about 100 SEK. Holders of a Swedavia weekly or yearly landing card do not pay a landing fee.

The club atmosphere is notably friendly and helpful, with assistance offered for fuel, local advice, and use of facilities. Glider operations take place at the field. The clubhouse can accommodate overnight stays, and guests have access to all club amenities; bicycles for visitors are not mentioned as available. Landskrona town is about 10 km away, with taxi fares around €40 each way.

For safety, when crosswinds prevail, land on runway 12 and depart from runway 30 due to runway slope. Gulls may be present on the runway and can be slow to clear; vigilance is advised. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
