Civil Airfield Sjöbo Sövde (ESMI)

Well-maintained 800 m grass runway with parallel strips: one for powered aircraft (30R/12L), one for gliders (30L/12R). Caution: do not land on the grass between the runways. Radio is rarely staffed; position reporting and see-and-avoid procedures are standard. Contact via the club website or email is recommended, especially if fuel is needed. Hjelmco 91/96 UL and mogas are available; call ahead for fuel service.

Parking on grass is available, and camping by the aircraft is possible. Clubhouse offers coffee, water, snacks (small fee via honesty box), PC, toilets, and simple showers. Accommodation can be arranged at Sövde Äventyrscamp next to the airfield. The nearest town is about 5 km away with no public transport, but local pilots may offer rides.

No landing or parking fees; overnight stays are also free. Example: landing, parking, and overnight about €0. Donations appreciated. Friendly atmosphere and helpful local community in a scenic setting.
