Borglanda Airport (ESMB)

Wide, well-maintained grass runway with blind calls for arrival and departure. 100LL avgas is available; payment in SEK or Euro, cash only. Tie-downs with concrete-filled tires are present, and hangar space may be arranged if urgently needed. Basic facilities include a composting toilet, water, outdoor power outlet, tables, benches, and a sheltered camping area. Bicycles are available on site; car hire is possible at the nearby OKQ8 station within walking distance. Guntorps Herrgard (about 4 km away) offers recommended accommodation with pickup and drop-off by arrangement; other hotels are accessible in Borgholm. No on-field restaurant, but various options exist in Borgholm, reachable by bike in 10–15 minutes or by taxi. The castle ruins and Borgholm town are notable attractions nearby.

The first 75 meters of RWY21 are slightly uphill before leveling out. Restricted area ES-R52 lies directly west of the field and is typically active H24 from June 1 to August 30; flying the eastern circuit avoids it. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
