Arvika Airport (ESKV)

At ESKV, operations are typically unstaffed with no radio operator present. Only ultralight aircraft are permitted. The airfield is situated in a scenic area near Glafsfjord and is sometimes used for events, so checking the flying club’s website before arrival is essential. Runway lights are available and can be activated by PTT.

Facilities include a small cabin for rent directly at the airfield, described as affordable, and bicycles are available for use, though their condition varies. Fuel (including UL91) is available with credit card payment, but prior coordination may be necessary. Hangar space can be arranged with help from club members, who are noted for their friendliness and assistance.

Ground transport options include a bus stop about 5 minutes on foot from the airfield and bicycles for the short ride into Arvika town. Accommodation options nearby include a lakeside campground with cabins and canoe rentals.
