Varberg Airport (ESGV)

Grass runway, described as short but smooth, with 100LL and 91/96UL fuel available; cash payment is accepted. No landing fee. A small club-operated restaurant offers simple food and coffee. Beaches are within walking distance to the southwest, and hotels are available in town. Overnight accommodation is possible in a hut with two beds behind the hangars or by renting a room in the old prison in town. The field is at 3 ft MSL and may flood during bad seasons; check the website or call before arrival. Runway 06/24 is not in operation, and taxiing occurs across the yard. There is a bus stop at the airfield, with about 10 minutes by bus to the city center or by bicycle to the beach. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
