Skövde Airport (ESGR)

VFR operations are available throughout the day, with no PPR required outside AFIS hours, which are set spontaneously as needed. When AFIS is not active and the terminal is closed, no landing fees apply. Self-service Avgas is available and can be paid for with major credit cards. The airfield offers a clubhouse with kitchen, lounge, and bedrooms, all free to use; food, drinks, and ice cream are available on a self-service basis for low prices, payable by Swish or cash. The airfield is fenced; coordinate re-entry options with the aeroclub if leaving the premises. Friendly atmosphere and convenient for fuel stops. Turbulence can occur on final approach in strong northerly winds.
